Working with communities and user utilities, the projects have involved the following areas: Strategic implications of electric power deregulation. The project addressed the capital and operational implications and opportunities for a major metropolitan water agency. Contracting for electric power. The project worked with public works staff and city staff to identify and evaluate alternates for competitive procurement of electric power. Contracts were successfully negotiated with the selected vendor alternative. Sale of facilities. Working with city staff, the project is assessing the marketplace valuation for a community-owned hydro-generation facility
